These SMS Terms & Conditions govern participation in the Shield Chiropractic Center text messaging program.

By opting in to receive text messages from Shield Chiropractic Center, you agree to receive SMS messages in accordance with these terms.

Shield Chiropractic Center Text Messaging Program

By opting in to receive text messages from Shield Chiropractic Center, you agree to receive SMS messages concerning:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders

• Scheduling

• Account notifications

• Patient-care communications

• Responses to your inquiries

• Other office-related communications

Messages may be sent through ChiroTouch or another authorized messaging service used by Shield Chiropractic Center.

Consent to Receive Text Messages

Participation in the Shield Chiropractic Center text messaging program is voluntary.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing services or receiving treatment from Shield Chiropractic Center.

By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in to SMS communications, you authorize Shield Chiropractic Center and its authorized messaging service providers to send text messages to the number you provide.

You are responsible for providing an accurate mobile telephone number and for notifying Shield Chiropractic Center if that number changes.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your appointments, communications, and interactions with our office.

You may receive messages related to scheduling, appointment reminders, office communications, patient care, account matters, or responses to requests you initiate.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier and service plan.

Shield Chiropractic Center does not charge a separate fee for participating in its SMS messaging program, but your wireless carrier may impose charges under the terms of your mobile service plan.

Opting Out

You may stop receiving text messages from Shield Chiropractic Center at any time by replying:

STOP

After you reply STOP, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.

You will not receive additional SMS messages from the Shield Chiropractic Center text messaging program unless you opt in again.

If you later wish to resume SMS communications, you may be required to provide new consent.

• Other circumstances outside the control of Shield Chiropractic Center

Shield Chiropractic Center does not guarantee that every text message will be delivered or received within a particular period of time.

Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Information may be provided to service providers, telecommunications carriers, aggregators, messaging platforms, and other vendors as necessary to operate and deliver Shield Chiropractic Center's text messaging services.

SMS Security

SMS text messaging may not be completely secure.

If sensitive information needs to be communicated electronically, Shield Chiropractic Center may direct you to another service or method.

ChiroTouch and Messaging Service Providers

Shield Chiropractic Center may use ChiroTouch or another authorized service provider to facilitate text messaging and patient communications.

These providers may process mobile telephone numbers, message-routing information, consent records, and related information as necessary to provide messaging services on behalf of Shield Chiropractic Center.

Use of a messaging service provider does not authorize that provider to use SMS opt-in data or consent information for unrelated marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes to Your Mobile Number

If your mobile telephone number changes, is reassigned, or is no longer under your control, please notify Shield Chiropractic Center as soon as reasonably possible.

This helps prevent messages intended for you from being delivered to another person.

Changes to the SMS Program

Shield Chiropractic Center may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of its SMS text messaging program at any time.

These SMS Terms & Conditions may also be revised when messaging practices, service providers, technologies, or applicable requirements change.

The current version will be posted on the Shield Chiropractic Center website with an updated effective date or last-updated date.
